21st
October, 2006
All the partners start the meeting at 9:00 in a meeting-room of the
NH Cornella Hotel in Barcelona (Spain). Mr. Mariusz Olêdzki joins
the meeting for the Polish partner Wyzsza Szkola Gospodarki
Euroregionalnej im. Alcide De Gasperi He shows the DVD of the event
organized in Poland. Ms. Catherine Ruth Halstead starts clarifying
the reasons of the delay of the second instalment due to the change
of the Dean in the coordinators Faculty and the fact that the
previous Dean hasn’t signed the letter of notification of the
change. Mrs. Sandra Boeme reminds the period, duration and details
about the organization and carrying out of seminars also she talks
about autonomous learning and learning in tandem using a power-point
presentation. All partners discuss the better way of organizing the
seminars. By the end we agree that each partner is free to organize
the seminars as he wants provided that he promotes an average of
four languages among those included in the project (that is: De.,
En., Es., It., Pl., Ro., Tr.) and that the seminars will be carried
out in the period from November 2006 up to January 2007. Everybody
agrees that the best period to run the seminars is January 2007.
Mrs. Boeme reminds that each partner must devote 4 days to the
preparation of seminars including a training meeting with teachers,
publicity and enrolment. All people interested in seminars that
attended the “Lingue in Piazza “ event must be invited to attend the
seminars by e-mail, letter or phone. At 13:30 we all have lunch in a
dinning-room of the NH Cornella Hotel. At 15:00 all partners go back
to the meeting-room and continue the discussion about seminars
organization. We all agree that according to the work-plan the
duration of seminars including the preparation of contents,
monitoring and running must be in all of 8 days work. All the people
that will attend the seminars can fill in a form in our web-site
www.lingueinpiazza.eu to learn the languages promoted in tandem.
Each partner must duly publicize the seminars and disseminate the
results locally. Ms. Simona Capatan reminds us that the project must
be evaluated by an external expert as it says in the project
outline. Ms. Catherine Ruth Halstead will contact some experts to
decide later on who of them is more suitable for the task. Mrs.
Sandra Rowley, our English partner, will present a paper in an
international conference to disseminate our project. Mr. Osman Nuri
Çömez and Mr. Sertaç Keskin, our Turkish partners, has prepared a
questionnaire to evaluate the success of seminars and they show it
to the other partners that discuss about its contents. Mr. Osman
Nuri Çömez and Mr. Sertaç Keskin will also prepare a check list to
monitor the preparation and carrying out of seminars by the
partners. The Turkish partner will collect all the information and
write a report. We end the meeting at 17:00 and at 17:15 we all meet
at the hotel reception to go on a bus-tour around Barcelona. |
